The stars certainly did not disappoint. Another thrilling day of world-class badminton is drawing to a close in Odense, and with the first round now complete, the stage is set for Thursday’s second-round encounters at VICTOR DENMARK OPEN 2026.

A packed SJF Bank Arena was treated to a spectacular Wednesday of badminton. Fierce rallies, closely contested matches, memorable moments and Danish victories – what more could you ask for?

For the home crowd, the day’s highlights included impressive victories for Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Bøje and Anders Antonsen, who both secured their places in the second round.

Mia Blichfeldt also produced a spirited performance in front of the Danish supporters, pushing Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi all the way in a dramatic three-game encounter. Unfortunately for the Dane, the decisive moments went Yamaguchi’s way.

There is plenty to look forward to from the very start of the day. Among the early highlights, top-seeded Korean men’s doubles pair Kim Won Ho/Seo Seung Jae will face China’s Chen/Liu in the second match on Court 1.
